If you want to get really angry, check out the book _Higher Education?: How Colleges are Wasting our Money and Failing our Kids -- and what we can do about it_ by Andrew Hacker and Claudia Dreifus. It took me a while to read the book because I had to take notes and yell about it occasionally. I'd be interested to hear your assessment as a Smith grad. They also have good things to say about Raritan (sp?) CC.
